Top 5 Quality Of Life Mods In Stardew Valley

The stardew valley modding community is incredibelly dedicated and they have released a ton of mods, many of them add so much new content to the game it could even be considerd a DLC, but it can be difficult to sift through the huge list to find the smaller mods that only change some minor aspects of the game. That is what I will be going over in this video, I have listed my Top five Quality of life mods for stardew valley.

my favorite mod is the Part of the Community mod. basically it means that whenever you talk to someone, if there's more people there they will react favorably and their friendship with you will increase without you needing to do anything lol

Sharing my favourite mods ^_^
1. DaisyNiko Earthy Recolor and Starblue Valley. Makes the game less yellow and a little more natural looking.
2. Longevity mod. Adds dynamic npc clothing and dialogues, and taxes to make earning money a little challenging cause why not XD
3. Lookup Anything mod, lets you look up literally anything, from your pet, each and every one of your farm animals, how many stuff you’ve got, to info of npcs. This mod got your back.
3. UI Info Suite. Comes with npc map locations, lets you know the range of scarecrows, sprinklers and bee houses, etc. Also lets you know when your machines gonna be ready!
4. CJB Cheats Menu (lol) comes with the harvest with scythe option, and can help you with fishing if you struggle with it XD

I also use *a lot* of visual mods but there are so many of them that I can’t list them all 😂

I do have one where if you press f1 with your mouse over something, it will display almost everything there is to know about that thing. Pretty useful as well.
Also, visual mods are a requirement for me at this point. You should definitely try some of those.

I use the instant catch mod for fishing and it has changed my life, lol. I'm not even sad about "cheating", because there's still so much to do in the expanded game, I hate wasting time with the fishing minigame

For some of these I'd like to see them in the base game but as an upgrade you get later. Just as example ideas:

1: Once you have the golden scythe, you can upgrade it to harvest crops. Or there's a new scythe that requires Qi Gems to buy.
2: Once you reach five hearts with a villager, you can see where they are on the map.
3: After you reach floor 100 in the Skull Cavern, you get a new quest from Mr. Qi that will build the elevator after doing a bunch of errands for him.
4: A ring that adds enemy health bars, which can be found fairly early and commonly in floors 1-10 of the mines.
5: A pair of boots found in the late game that allows jumping over objects (though I'd personally nerf that jump to be one tile, such as over a fence or rock in the mines, as it's a bit silly how good it is in the mod)

I really like "slime hutch limit" mod. It allows you to configure the top number of slimes in the hutch, which in my opinion isn't even cheating because slimes are not that profitable, I just want a colorful rainbow mess lol.
Also ui info suite mod. Maybe it's not a "quality of life" mod, but it definitely improves MY quality of life.

I love the automate mod. It is so helpful and makes things so much easier. I also found a mod that really expands the inside of the shed. It gives you ton of space for storage and machines without using up space on the farm.

- Elle's animal recolor (ngl the vanilla sprite is hideous)
- Character Dialogue Expansion
- Elle's seasonal building
- Automate mod (better than the hopper)
- Seasonal outfit
- Look up anything (basically in game wiki)
- Harvest with scythe (this mod is a godsend)

I did have a challenge with my friends on who can reach the lowest in the skull cavern in a single 24 hour period without bringing any stone or ladders in. It was super fun and I got to around 15k floors down. We all had prepaired for it with cheats item menu.

OMG I'll download the label for the chests right now! Sorting stuffs in chests and remebering where I put them has always been a struggle for me. I really wish it was already in the vanilla game.

I know it's silly of me, but I kinda feel "bad" using mods. Even the ones that change only outfits, I feel like cheating. I never used mods before, but I'll def give the label chests a try.

My Favorit Mod
1. Automate
Just like Hopper but better, you dont have to pick product, just place into chest 🤣🤣🤣. Oh about Silo, you can place chest near silo. Place your hay into chest. When your hay decreasing, your hay will autofill into silo. Its better than your recomendation, cuz you will have 999x36 storage.
2. CJB Item adn Cheat Menu

3. Starfruit regrow 🤣🤣🤣
4. Ui info suite

6. Skull cavern elevator

just bumped into this. those seasonal outfits they designed are really cute. Look up anything mod was useful. you can press f1 when hovering your cursor on something to look up info about the item if an npc it'll show a list of their loves and likes

Skull cavern elevator is not a quality of life mod but a game changing mod. You can instantly finish Qi’s quests with it or load up on luck items and search for treasure floors*.

*Treasure floors will not spawn with a chest if you’ve already collected from it that day.

I love mods. The game requires a lot of grinding and I'm not about that life lol. But it's important to not go crazy because the challenge will be lost. You may as well just read the wiki at that point.
