UGC-NET Exam Cancelled: NTA Cancels UGC-NET 2024, Says Integrity Of Exam Compromised

The UGC-NET June 2024 exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), was abruptly cancelled following concerns raised by the National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit about potential exam integrity compromises. The exam, held across 1,205 centers in 317 cities with over 11 lakh candidates participating, faced cancellation to uphold transparency and fairness. The Ministry of Education, Government of India, has decided to conduct a fresh examination and has referred the matter to the Central Bureau of Investigation (C.B.I.) for a comprehensive investigation. I don’t really understand the point of cancelling the exam. If the question paper is leaked for some why should the others suffer. Put on an investigation and find those who got benefitted from that and debar them. I think that’s the right thing to do. What if the same happens again??? Will they cancel that too???
