I’m excited to share 'Asfur', my second collaboration with Pettra, after our iconic track 'Savta'.
On October 7th, I lost my eldest son, Laor, in the tragic attack at the Nova Festival. That loss was the hardest moment of my life, and in the days that followed, music became my way of finding strength and comfort.
When Jonatan played me the vocal he had recorded, with the Arabic words translating to "My bird, My little boy," it touched me deeply. We entered the studio, and what began as a creative process turned into a deep journey of healing.
This track invites you to connect to your emotions, to dance through the hard moments, and find solace in the rhythm and melody.

David Abramov, known as Darwish, is a DJ and music producer from Israel who specializes in Psychedelic, Progressive and Spiritual Trance. As one of the most active DJs, he is a leading figure in the international trance scene. As one of Israel's most prolific DJs, Darwish is a key figure in the global trance music scene, widely recognized as a spiritual trailblazer in the country’s vibrant electronic music culture.
David’s musical roots run deep, with his journey beginning under the influence of his mother, a gifted pianist. By the age of 18, he was already captivating audiences at intimate gatherings, quickly rising to prominence in the rave scene. In 1997, he began organizing legendary nature parties, which played a crucial role in defining the Israeli trance movement. He is also a co-founder of the influential electronic label, Stomp Records.
Today, Darwish continues to enchant audiences worldwide, performing at major international festivals around the globe. His performances and productions remain a powerful force, shaping and inspiring the global trance music landscape.
