In this video, we discuss video marketing trends and tips that will help you jumpstart your video marketing campaign.

Part of creating a marketing campaign involves getting your message out in a number of different ways. By aligning your topics together with the types of content you create on a weekly basis, you can gain more traction with your marketing strategy. See what topics your audience is interested in. Create weekly themes based around that topic. Then, create a long form blog post, use some of your blog post as a script for your video content. To broaden your message, create a social media post or campaign around your content. That way, your audience has not only a blog post to look forward to, but also an online video.

Why not add video into your Blogs? According to Forbes, fifty nine percent of executives would rather watch a video than read text. After all, video is the most engaging form of content out there and has proven to have a better retention rate as well.

Having a video on your landing page increases your conversion rate. According to Tubular Insights, the average order value for retailers increased by over fifty percent when they had a video on their landing page.

Mix it up a bit by including video in some of the emails you send out. Including video in an email campaign more than doubles your click-through rate according to Forrester.

Invest your efforts into distributing your videos socially. Besides YouTube and Facebook, there is Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and LinkedIn all incorporating video into their social platforms. Through multi-channel distribution, you will reach a larger audience.

Discover the top three social platforms your audience congregates in the most. Then make sure to distribute your video content to at least those channels. Consider varying your social video content in engaging and interactive ways for the target platforms. For example, you could host a Snapchat Q&A session or you could do a live three hundred and sixty degree behind-the-scenes product launch in YouTube or Twitter. Whatever your audience needs, they look to you for answers.
Speaking of three hundred sixty degree videos, it is an impressive statistic that people view a three hundred sixty degree video more than the same video in traditional format at a rate of twenty nine to one. Give it a try.
