The moment when Hawkeye got sick of people comparing him to the Green Arrow and decided to be a much more darker version of the dark archer lol

Clint: "Ronin is dead. Black Widow killed him. I was there."

I forgot that is actually true.

They could honestly make an entire movie off of this scene

I like the fact that Black Widow was blatently watching this whole thing and decided neither to help him or stop him. Just let him get on.

What I really like about this scene is that it allows the character of Hawkeye to flourish in his own realm. Half of the planet is gone, his family are gone, so he simply goes back to what he does best, because his life means little else. Whenever Hawkeye is in a scene with a super soldier, a literal God or an a guy in a walking engine of war he seems pointless, but here his prowess really shows. He couldn't go toe-to-toe with most avenger levels threats, so he would be better utilised in small stories like this one, where he and his foes are more evenly matched.

I never understood why people don't get this scene. "So Hawkeye is just killing Yakuza for no reason?" or "What does he have against the Japanese?".
This man was so enraged about the loss of his family that not only did he relapse into his life as an assassin, but took it upon himself to hunt down and eliminate all the big criminal groups in the world because if his family couldn't live then neither could these gangs. This is 5 years later. He would've started in North America, worked his way through South America, then either pushed into Europe or gone over to Asia first.
He is not "killing Yakuza for no reason", they just happen to be next on his long list of names he's already halfway through.

Just goes to show that Clint, with no superpowers, is probably the most skilled fighter on earth. The number one assassin in Shield, medieval weaponry, took out countless criminal underworlds across continents in a few years.

He destroyed a whole gang with only a sword and knives while they fired with guns and stuff like that. And he didn't had a scratch. He's a total badass!

I'm probably one of the minority that actually loves Clint. He's just a normal human on a team of superheros and gods, yet with just a sword and some throwing knives, was able to take out not just the Yakuza, but apparently also the Mexican cartel! All of whom had guns. Clint is an absolute badass!

Imagine if we got a back story movie of what Clint did during the 5 years of 2018 to 2023

“You are evil, yet you survived... why is that?” I feel like that is the more literal translation...

"What I want, you can't give me."

Always love it when a villain tries to beg for their life and that line is the hero's response, usually because they've lost family/a loved one...

This is actually written like a Japanese scene, down to the bad guy uselessly begging for his life and trying to bribe the guy who's been killing him at the last moment.

Two things:

1 - Major props to whoever wrote, composed, and directed this scene. Not only was it a pretty clean one-shot, someone else in the comments mentioned how it was sort of like an homage to Japanese style-cinema. Watching this in theaters, for the first time, you could really feel the jarring but effective tone shift.
Its unlikely that someone could absorb all the nuance on first viewing, but after seeing it multiple times its evident that this scene did a really, really good job of informing us of where Clint was at during this point of time through the change of his fight style, his words to his opponent, and his single-minded focus of fucking everyone up.

2 - I love the fact that they went the Ronin route with Hawkeye. I'm sure a decent amount of MCU fans tried to figure out who this character was when it Renner was shown to have a costume shift -- there are a couple of different videos out there describing the comic timeline behind it. Ronin, however, is more of a persona than a character, like a mantle to be worn by those who need it.
What I'm most excited about its connection to its original wearer, Echo / Maya Lopez, who's confirmed to be in the Hawkeye series. (Details: she's a deaf, Native American 'super'hero with an enhanced photographic memory. Her power is essentially learning another persons patterns and fighting style in the middle of combat and then using their martial weaknesses to take her opponents out).

Hawkeye's story in Infinity War/Endgame mirrors Echo's comic origins: they both seek vengeance for the people who hurt their family. This gives us the chance to explore the limitations and parallels of the characters backgrounds and disabilities, and I'm so excited for it. (Maybe they'll also give us a passing reference to Daredevil / Matt Murdock, another important part of Echo's story and character representation of heroes with disabilities)

0:29-0:33. It really showed how Clint was far superior not only in fighting, but in agility as well. I mean, Akihiko fell on his feet, sure, but he stumbled a bit. Clint, on the other hand, just landed like the height meant nothing to him.

Cool scene, but feels like a waste of Hiroyuki Sanada's talents. Deserves a bigger role.

Thanos kills half the universe:
Cap: opens mental health group
Natasha: Gets depressed
Cap Marvel: Helps other planets
Bruce: works on self
Thor: becomes depressed and drinks a lot
Hawkeye: “KILLS EVERY SINGLE CARTEL/MAFIA/GANG/SYNDICATE HE CAN GET HIS HANDS ON.”
