I’m here to give you hope for ACOTAR. I DNF’d it FIVE YEARS ago. I never DNF’d then. I think my exact words in my review were “violently DNF’ing.” I was coming from predominantly contemporary romance and not understanding fantasy a ton but Fae, none at all. After reading other SJM, 5 years later I started again. Couldn’t out the shit down. Especially when you get through book one, you’ll blow through the tomes that come come after. And I don’t hate on book one like others but I feel for all the readers out there like me that gave up because of book one. They’ll never know the supreme greatness that comes next and you can’t get the greatness without ACOTAR. It just wouldn’t be the same. The audiobooks are on Scribd (I needed a little help with ACOTAR from time to time.) AND there’s even a full cast audio version of I know the first three and maybe the novella. I plan to use those for a reread. But after ACOTAR, I wanted to read the physically since that’s my preferred method to consume books but I will turn to audio if it’s something I think has potential but I’m struggling to find the motivation. Hope you enjoy! Sorry for the long comment. 🙈

If you haven't read The Boyfriend Project by Farrah Rochon yet, start with that one. It's a companion novel to The Dating Playbook but the key is that it explains how the 3 women met each other and became friends - so it's not 100% necessary to read them in order but it helps.
