Global Rescue did me a favor. Before needing them during an emergency, they demonstrated they lack integrity and don't deliver what they promise. Trust is crucial in the emergency rescue business, and multiple GR associates I reached out to demonstrated a comfort and practice of defending misstated coverage on their website. Their website clearly states a Family Plan covers dependent children until age 26. But upon renewing my long subscription with the company, they wouldn't cover my 25 year old because 9 months later she would turn...you guessed it...26! Instead of covering her until her birthday, they feel it's ethical to stop covering 25 year olds. Can you imagine what they come up with or invent when you call them in a crisis? I've been a member for years, have recommended them to many others, and had planned on being a lifetime member. No more. They say I've put up such a fuss they've decided to change their website to make it honest. Wow. One may think this was a little thing, but little things reveal underlying cultures at an organization. Be warned.
