I saw Elton with Dee and Nigel back in 1970 or 71 in Reno play Burn Down the Mission. They were so incredible. Elton did his handstand thing at the end jam part of Burn Down the Mission. A concert I still remember with great fondness. I'm ith you on thre Covid 19 virus. I always wear my mask social distance and wash wash wash my hands. Stay safe.

Tumbleweed Connection, probably my favourite Elton John album. Some great songs on that album. I remember buying it when it came out in the UK in 1970. Saw Elton, Nigel and Dee live around the same year.

Never knew Phil did that Elton/Bernie song. Elton's stuff early in his career was true greatness. Phil did a great job with this classic song.

That "Two Rooms" tribute to Elton and Bernie was hit and miss for me. But I loved Phil's version of this, Clapton's version of "Border Song", Sinead O'Conner's version of "Sacrifice". A couple of the other covers were nice too and the whole thing was done with a lot of love, care and precision. And a LOT of talent. The great tracks are worth having, for sure. Glad you got to be apart of it, Lee. You did Herbie Flowers and Dee Murray a tribute your own self!
