Staedtler Noris EMR WACOM Stylus Pen Review

The Staedtler Noris EMR Digital Pen is made in Germany and made of real wood. It feels like you are holding a pencil, except it has a nib, instead of graphite. This pen comes in two designs, the number 2 pencil size, it is thin and easy to hold. The Jumbo is not as tall, but does have an eraser at the top, which you can use to correct mistakes.

This series of EMR pens is compatible with most WACOM screens, except the Sony DPT, Fujitsu Quaderno and QuirkLogic Papyr. We tested this pen on Onyx, Likebook, Supernote, Remarkable 2 and the responsiveness was great.

No one having the problem of mistaking it for a common pencil? No one talks about that but that's actually the PROBLEM for me. It looks like a pencil, it feels like a pencil, it weights like a pencil, it also gets scratched like a pencil! That's amazing but for the same reason I can't help keeping it up thinking it is a normal staedtler pencil! Even if I know it is not, when I hold it I feel like starting chewing it a little :)

The jumbo works like a charm with my Tab S9 Ultra. It's better for writing than the S-Pen. However, it lacks the Bluetooth functions of the S-Pen. But then everything does... including the Apple Pencil.

The Staedler pens that look like this one, are my favourite pens as they’re just like a pencil in feel and use.
The length of the pens are just like the non-eraser model, and are in truth, too long so the eraser model will be a better size plus; the shorter model with the eraser will be better balanced I’d think.

To erase something with the Jumbo, it is not necessary to rub it like using the classical rubber eraser, but rather to make a lasso operation over the targeted part and it will disappear.

I got the Jumbo recently, and the eraser on mine basically simulates a finger. In Infinite painter for instance it wont work if I turn off finger drawing
