Did you see that, In the Endermite vs Endermen one the Endermite pushed the Endermen into the water and it only took damage from the Endermite hitting it not the water.

Wait a minute endermires it live in ender pearls and ender pearls were commonly believed to be a part of the enderman's biology so maybe the reason endermites attack enderman and vice versa is cause the endermites are like parasites that live inside endermens orgins
