I'd say the ROI is probably better than most boxes you can buy nowadays, plus there's a greater likelihood that these will increase in value than most hits in most products

Definitely not worth the price for that one. Though there is something to be said about the excitement of pulling Bench and Killebrew rookies. So that adds about $10 I guess.

I gotta go with the vintage Bench, Killebrew..The price on these boxes should be 2000 bucks not 3000...bucks. Even four 500 dollar cards would be bad. LEAF loves a good ol rip off. Not cool. Especially when its a blind deal. I understand they can't all be winners..but even half value seems bad. Wow, thanks for sharing. Makes me wanna sell my collection like that!

For 3K I am going to buy the cards I want... the vintage baseball are cool but not what I would spend big money on...the basketball I have no interest in beyond if I could sell them.

They’re nice cards, but kind of a weird hodgepodge. If they had done a vintage edition vs a modern era edition I think each product would be more enticing than this one.

I'm not a huge fan of panini but the optic stuff, especially the rated rookies are really nice looking cards (though in baseball I hate no logos, just New York 'team' lol). Interesting but would rather see more bowman chrome, let's war!!!

I enjoy the buybacks because you have absolutely no clue what's coming next. They're fun to watch. Leaf has a cheaper buyback box they put out that usually breaks even or slightly under. I can't remember the exact name.

Most of the buy-back boxes like best of sports stuff normally nets you around half of what you normally pay for. If you buy a box for $500, then generally you will get cards value at around 200-300(rarely you do get close to the value of box).

Lots of weird comments from people here. You NEVER expect to break even on a box of cards. The expectation should ALWAYS be that you will LOSE money. That is literally the only way it works. If you broke even on every box, nobody would sell them. They would just sell the cards on the open market. But I guarantee there are some boxes with cards that are worth $6000-$10, 000 in them. Breaking boxes is about the chance you get those hits.
