I don't have a camera, don't have a gimbal, don't have that extension pole, no editing skills at all ... But still I enjoy your videos very much😍

I was Mister Clueless today shooting my first video without a gimbal or even a selfie stick holding and shaking the camera phone with my bare hand. I thought...no way will I post this on my new channel. I'm going to get some practice in first and learn some awesome moves from Learn Online Video. Count me as another subscriber...now hopefully one day I can look back and be amazed at far I've come along from day one. The fact I have taken the first step walking around filming while people look at me as what is this guy doing was the hardest part...kind of like stage fright while trying to talk to an audience of people without cutting a sweat and knowing what you are talking about. Well, we all have to start somewhere. Okay, enough with my rambbling I really learned some great tips from this video...big thanks from across the pound. It's video practice time!! Let's go

So helpful to me (beginner!!) to see “clueless” vs pro techniques. The pro video really told a story and evoked emotion.

If there is a level below amateur, that's me. With that said, I want to take this opportunity to thank you because your videos helped me win a trip to Hawaii. I entered a contest where had to create a 60sec video and I used some of your techniques I learned to amplify my entry, and although I didn't have the right equipment like you, I got it to work. Thank you again. You have a subscriber for life and I recommend all my friends and family to your videos!

I really love how you explain things logically. I always recommend your videos to beginners like me if they ask where did i learn some of the tricks I do on my videos. Thank you for the free tutorial as always.

Ha! Mr. Clueless is a fantastic character! Something that makes you stand out in your tutorials! It really shows a contrast of what not to do and what you should do. No one else does that

Particularly liked the closing scene of the "professional" video. Kind of the opposite of a reveal, moving outward, the church being increasingly hidden behind the trees. The viewer immediately knows this journey is coming to an end. Great tips and very helpful.

Really appreciated seeing you create all of this using the iPhone. I have not truly capitalized on the flexibility of the Ronin and my smartphone to get amazing footage…I can imagine the reduction in overall weight helps with those longer shots and arm fatigue…inspired now to breakout the ronin and the smartphone, thanks

As usual, your tips are beautifully and simply explained and demonstrated. 👏 I especially like the way that using a pole can add so much interest and perspective to a shot. On a recent trip, where I was traveling extremely light, I was able to achieve this with only a simple selfie stick attached to my iPhone, but I never would have thought to do that without having seen your previous video on gimbal moves. Love your channel, Steve!

Your videos are amazing. I live in East Africa, I did video graph skills for 3months . I am still leaning from you. But gimbal where i live is more expensive . I am watching from Kigali Rwanda 🇷🇼. Keep teaching us. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I like your tips using the extension pole. I have a basic adjustable monopod, and it works great with my gimbal. I can shorten the monopod length as needed to affect the balance of my setup when I'm not shooting very high or low. Great video, and very helpful. Thanks!

I love the foreground movement shot and slowly revealing my focal point either a building or my kids playing in the back yard. You are definitely changing my home movie style to looking more professional.👍🏼

I'm new to using a gimbal and one thing I would suggest is also mention the mode (PF, Lock, Go, Vortex, etc) you're using to film the specific shots. This will be very helpful for beginners.

I have to say I learnt an absolute tonne of stuff from this video, you’ve pointed out all the issues I knew I had and you’ve given me a whole bunch of ideas.
