Pinhão, Portugal: Port Wine and the World's Best Driving Road! [4K]

Immersive walking (and driving!) tour of Pinhao, Portugal, as well as National Road 222, the road that offers the world's best driving experience, according to a study done a few years ago! Located on the north bank of the Douro River, 380km (236 mi) north of Lisbon and 130km (81 mi) east of Porto, the town of Pinhao is at the center of the Port Wine demarcated region, where several top-tier wine producing estates can be found. Port wine is, by far, the most famous and most exported Portuguese wine.

This walk was filmed in 4K resolution, first-person point of view with captions (no talking), for a more immersive experience!

Very probably my favourite region of Portugal! The view down to Pinhao and west along the Douro from Miradouro de Casal de Loivos is matched by the view east along the river from Miradouro São Leonardo de Galafura. Wonderful roads, reasonably quiet and often challenging, but giving spectacular views of river, terraced vineyards and hidden farms and villages. Thank you for sharing.

Another stunning town in beautiful Portugal and another amazing, informative video! Oh my goodness! So many beautiful places to visit. I can't wait! 🤗 I'm not a drinker, but when I went to Porto, I did a tour of one of the Port wine producers where I tried port wine for the first time, and OMG, I was hooked! 😂 It's like dessert in a bottle of happiness. 😂😂😂🤤🤤🤤 I brought a couple of bottles back with me that sadly didn't last long, so I'm very much looking forward to enjoying it again when I move there next year. The port here just can't compare. Vamos tomar um porto, meu amigo! 🍷🍷
