Specific teams definitely went for needs. EG: Texans, Bucs, Eagles, Steelers. Always laugh at the experts pulling the arm length card. Look at their tape.

Eagles are definetly the number 1 winner of round 1, no doubt. Cardinals draft is very underrated so far too. They get a future (probably still high) first round pick and the Player they wanted anyway? That is more than solid. I don't see the Seahawks draft that positive.

Lions fumbles so bad. they traded down and still had the best CB on the board and took someone at 12 who would’ve been there at 34.

The more questionable pick for the Lions was getting a RB!
They needed more Defense!

The carter pick shouldn't be affected by needing to move up. Someone could of jumped up or the bears were going to draft him unless we traded up for him

Van Ness didn't start because Iowa starts players that have seniorty. The culture there is a big reason why. Van Ness actually played more snaps than any of the D. Ends as well as lined up inside. The Packers love these types of athletes. Rashard Gary has evolved into a stud before his ACL injury last year is the same type of player the Packers picked at 12.. Not sure of his return time frame next season and with Preston Smith getting some age on him, Van Ness will get to learn and play along side 2 players that can teach him to thrive.

My only problem with the Jets pick is that they couldn’t trade back and do it but if you like the player and no other team wants to come up you take the guy you like
