West Bengal governor criticises Mamata Banerjee over handling of anti-CAA protests

As protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act rage across West Bengal for the third day straight, Governor Jagdeep Dhankar has called out the West Bengal government for not acting in time to stop it.

He also asked Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to withdraw an advertisement stating that the CAA and NRC would not be implemented in West Bengal.
