◙ What Is Syphilis?
Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection that can cause serious health problems if it is not treated. Syphilis is divided into stages (primary, secondary, latent, and tertiary). There are different signs and symptoms associated with each stage.

◙ What are the symptoms of syphilis?
Syphilis symptoms can be hard to notice, and come and go over time. So the best way to know if you have syphilis is to get tested.

Syphilis is sneaky, because you or your partner may not have any symptoms that you see or feel. Most of the time, people don’t even realize they have syphilis — that’s part of the reason it’s a common infection (and why it’s so important to get tested).
So the average so when a person, the thing is, when a person contracts syphilis, it may take a while before they have symptoms. It could be anywhere from like 21 days, but it can range from 10 to 90 days.

If you are pregnant and have syphilis, you can give the infection to your unborn baby. Having syphilis can lead to a low birth weight baby. It can also make it more likely you will deliver your baby too early or stillborn (a baby born dead). To protect your baby, you should be tested for syphilis at least once during your pregnancy. Receive immediate treatment if you test positive.
