DayZ Server Wipes COMING ❌

There is a server wipe coming across all official servers and the DayZ team have announced this because of the glitches and problems they've been having across servers.

Let's not forget all those plastic explosives from the Christmas event are still being horded . We haven't had a player wipe in almost a year

Yeah, I came across a base that was starting to be massive. And I noticed hundreds of wood crates that looked duplicated it’s probably good in a long run if it’s fixed long-term.

I was on a console official server the other day and there was a base that looked like an actual skyscraper in Elektro. Then I heard grenades going off at it for the next 20-30 minutes straight. I thought there's no way someone could have that many grenades legitimately but I didn't realize duping was this bad. Hopefully they can fix it 🤷‍♂️

Thank god! Needs it soooo badly. Every server jammed full of guys running around with 10 IED’s each. Then you go for them and they log in with alt after alt after alt. I do like the pre wipe madness too. Everyone going mental and using up stashes.

I heard about the patch coming and I had just gotten in to base building. It took me several weeks of dying and trying again to accumulate all the NbC gear. I went into the MB that has permanent gas only to find a watchtower on the hospital.

i've never duped a day in my life and have gotten very loaded so i'm excited to have an even playing field and for loot to actually have good value again

We haven't had character wipes in over a year, I got characters holding backpacks full of gear from a base that got wiped 9months ago

Im on console and I’ve got quite a lot of crates all around chernarus and about 5-6 alt accounts all fully geared but I couldn’t be happier to hear this !!! End duping once and for all pls, and do it right, every single dupe methods needs to go !!!

I hope this means we’ll still get a wipe for Sakhal, also a report feature would solve some issues, I know of probably a dozen different dudes that I harass are duping constantly, and have been for ages, just can’t report them

i was playing fully-geared, everything camo/Ghillie, M4 and AUR. stacked.
Ran into Kolembrody and logged off for the night, i log in to the house being filled with Landmines, exploded some and kept being knocked out… over the course of 1 Hour, i heard 30-40 fireworks set off outside around the House….
The Duplication Glitch was easily one of the most annoying bugs to come across.

Im kinda glad there’s a wipe coming. I’ve been running this ghillie setup for close to a year now and it’s wicked fun but I’m ready for something new.

The official server I play on console has got bases up to the sky and at jaunty angles. It's a madness.
