German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and state premiers have agreed on what they say are far reaching measures to limit illegal migration. The federal states say they are overburdened supplying housing, food, employment and education for hundreds of thousands of migrants coming into the country. There are also fears that voter backlash on this issue could help far-right parties in regional elections later this year.

Germany needs 7 millions immigrants in order to replace the older workers who will retire from now to 2035 ... otherwise the productivity and economy will shrink to a dangerous level
