Catwoman has clawed her way through half of the Magistrate’s bullet train, but her fight has only just begun! Now, with Onomatopoeia in tow, Selina makes her way toward the car carrying a ghost of her past, and Gotham’s as well. It’s Bruce Wayne…but is it really him? And with Talia al Ghul on board as well, will this be a long-awaited reunion between the Bat and the Cat, or will Selina’s mission to rescue the Magistrate’s prisoners go off the rails?

I sincerely hope that the final issue of dark detective Bruce meets up with the resistance he sees dick he sees Tim he sees Barbara he gets to see Selena again... if that doesnt happen ill be pissed.

Damn, I’m finally catching up after like a month of missing comics

If Bruce doesn't stick to his moral code then there is literally no purpose for him to be Batman. The short and sweet answer is that his code is about him not being the thing he stands against.

Everyone else is so linear thinking. Jason, Talia, Selena, Damien, Helena, etc. Readers too! They all think it's all about him being a hero but it was never that at all. He never set out to be the good guy, never set out to save the day. He became Batman because of a tragedy he wanted to "prevent" from happening again, not cause to happen again for his own vengeance.

He'd be a complete hypocrite to do all this brooding and sulking in the night over his parents murder only to go do some murder of his own. Think about it: I want revenge against the person who killed my parents therefore I'll kill all the bad guys! What would make him different than any other villain? Because he "perceives" himself as doing justice? Harvey, Pam, few others all also believe they are doing the right thing too by ending people they see as a threat so the only thing that would set them all apart would be their methods. Bruce Wayne would be just as Arkham worthy! 🤣 So that code matters even more than his heroics.
