I'm trying to understand music theory more. When I look up this song it says it is in A however this song seams to move between multiple keys. How does that work?

explain it like I'm 5. or at least a 5 year old who has no experience with music yet. what are the notes if I didn't use the chords or whatever they are called when you hit several keys at once? I mean the 9 critical notes. And how are the last 4 notes different from the "major chord" everyone is talking about for The Rise of Skywalker. Damn it Jim, I'm an engineer not a musician. I try to read about major and minor chords but the writer's audience is obviously familiar with music.
