BBS-HD + Phaserunner + 25 Amps of field weakening!

The bafang bbshd plus the grim tech phaserunner mt.

This is showing the top speed with the 42T Luna gear and the 50t Box component rear gear. Making a 1.19 gear ratio.

On the stock controller 13mph was the limit.

Now almost 22mph (21 on gps)

Running my own tuning based off of previous videos.

I have bumped field weakening up some. If you have a 52v bbshd, and you want to extend your fun. This is no doubt the way to do it.

I have two of the same bikes, so possible one day I will do a comparison video!

Working on adjusting so you can get a perfect view of the screen. 3D printing a mount that will fix to the cycle analyst for perfect viewing.

I'm right at the beginning of my build. Same setup as yours but I'm building a 74v 3kw modular battery pack with 21700 Tesla cells. This is my first ebike build. So much to learn but I'm enjoying every minute of it. Thanks for the video.

I got my 52v batteries putting out 4200 watts on a bbshd there's no benefits to running 72v on the BBSHD really other than less heat and possibly a little up tick in speed but honestly I don't see a faster speed when I run 72v because the system just lowers the max amp output and my 52v set up can support the max amps at 52v so either way 72v or 52v with my particular controller which is a different one then yours but very similar the asi bac855+ hacked with a NXT arduino tuner display kit it doesn't matter if I run 52v or 72v it will always output 4200+ watts around the same just at less amps on the 72v naturally so less heat and possibly a bit higher rpms but I don't always notice the higher rpms really. What I will say is 4200watts on a bbshd powered ebike is fucking mind blowing. I can put it in a high torque gear and do easy instant power wheelies or put it in a higher speed gear for keeping the rpms down on the long journeys where I'm hitting and holding the motor at very high speeds which I may add when I ride like that I typically do so using a much lower power setting because I find that you don't need that much power to get up to around 30-35mph and than each mph faster after that waste tons of battery power for a small return in added speed so for long trips it's not worth it for me to use the max power output but the nice thing about my nxt set up with the asi controller is I can turn the power down instantly with out having to pull out a phone or get a computer or even stop pedaling and with the newer sine wave and foc tech in these controllers it's so much more efficient then any the cheap square wave controllers that most ebike motors come with. My two 52v 21ah batteries can get me over 150 miles range at a speed of about 30-35mph the whole way easily and possibly do much further but I'm being speculative and guessing on the lower side. I've done 40-50 mile round trips using just one of the 52v 21ah batteries and still had plenty power left when I made it home riding it using my eco settings/tune so running both batteries in parallel is really only for when I want to go fast and not run a single battery super hard or get a decent range while going fast or a super duper long range riding efficiently but for the most part I'm fine with one battery. The bikes super heavy with two batteries. I'm likely going to build a new battery for the BBSHD bike and for my Segway x260 and likely it will be 72v since I just want all my bikes to be on the same voltage. I'm planning on eventually getting a stealth bomber Enduro frame which was my original plan but then I got a hook up on a Segway which I'm getting delivered soon and already have a hacked ASI bac2000 controller for it that I was saving for the Enduro build I wanted to do.

Hi. What battery do you run here? And do you use the stock Bafang thumb throttle with the Analyst?

Did you say a 50T rear and a 40T front?

Does your motor get hot with field weakening?

My bbshd goes 30mph+ without any mods. What’s ur gearing like?

Why don't you shift gear? Don't need all these gears? Sigh 😕

I'm getting so freaking impatient!

Youbdont need a phaserunner to go 33 mph with 52v and 20a. Chrcknyour controller and display settings before buying crazy stuff
