"I am happy to share with you the summary from my meeting with the Malawi First Lady, H.E. Mrs. Monica Chakwera. I am honored to receive Malawi First Lady H.E. Mrs. Monica Chakwera to our Merck Foundation office to discuss our long-term partnership and program to build healthcare capacity, support girl education, And empower infertile women in Malawi. I was glad to give her the Merck Foundation award certificate to acknowledge her efforts as an ambassador of Merck Foundation More than a Mother campaign.

Together, we have provided more than 16 local doctors with the scholarship of online one-year diplomas in many medical specialties: such as Diabetes, Cardiovascular, Endocrinology, Sexual and Reproductive Medicines, Respiratory Medicines, and Acute Medicines, Cancer & Clinical Oncology, they are currently undergoing their studies.

We are also excited for the 2021 Merck Foundation Awards announced in partnership with the First Lady of Malawi. We have also distributed 30,000 copies of the three storybooks and distributed to school children in collaboration with Ministry of Education".
