Thank you so much Professor Dave. I'm a 49 year old maintenance technician and am interested in studying to get a BA in mechanical engineering. I use your physics and math courses from time to time as a way to keep my mind fresh and pass time in an educational way. Recently my 14 year old son has showed an interest in science, particularly astronomy. Long story short, I turned him on to your channel and he is now a well-spring of knowledge. Keep up the good work Dave.

Hey I am a 110 year old embedded software developer for satellites. I always wanted to learn astrophysics, this is a good start. Thanks.

Damnit. This series isn't receiving nearly enough attention. Dave has put together one of the most excellent astronomy series' ever made (I've seen A LOT!) and hardly anybody is watching it. This saddens me deeply. Honestly, Dave's knack for making complex subject matter incredibly easy to grasp & understand... I'd love to see some of his work make it into classrooms. If it were up to me, his entire channel would be required viewing.

We'd have a lot fewer "flat-earther" buffoons running around, for one.

Thank you for the videos. After retiring from the military and being a network engineer afterwards … since a child I wanted to become a scientist. Though your videos won’t get me my Doctorate, it has quenched my thirst for the knowledge.

It’s amazing how much has changed since the mid 90s.

Now I may only be 13 but I have always wanted to be an astrophysicist since a young kid and my school doesn't offer any of this so, Thank you so very much for teaching this.

Those were the good old days, when you could SEE the stars!! The ceiling of Grand Central Station in NYC is BACKWARDS from the actual sky, I guess because people haven't been able to see stars for over a hundred years in many big cities.

I fall asleep listening to this playlist of the universe every night. Its like a bedtime story that is wonderful and magical but better because it's also true and I'll never see the end of this mystical science wonder.

I've been observing things with my telescope and taking photos with my camera for about a year now and love space, now I can learn more about the things I've seen and captured.
