Hi SORTED guys!!! Thank you sooo much for this recipe!! i just finished making it for a house family dinner party, literally just sat down to rest. Hey, the cook deserves a glass (or a botte) after all that lol anyway, my guests LOVED it!! and even the kids didnt think it was too hot. I used bird's eye chilli as well as red chilli and lime juice instead of lemon and also i added a bit mirin for sweetness. it's an odd choice but works wonderfully! i accompanied it with sweet potato fries and a nice crisp salad. i credited you guys when they asked for the recipes! loves ya lots! Had a great night with good food and its all thanks to you guys!

I work at a nandos and we let the chicken sit in the piri-piri sauce for 24 hours before cooking it. Also we put way more sauce on it. I would say 3 or 4 times as much. and we constantly flip the chicken when cooking and continually marinade it. Now I don't actually cook the chicken so that is all I really know.

Nandos sauce in supermarket is not the same as the basting and marinade they use at the outlets

Rewatched this to refresh my memory of the recipe, made this ages ago and loved it, figured it's time to do again! Ben looks so little in this video, haha! It's weird to go back into your archive and rewatch videos. This recipe is honestly a classic in my home ;)

Hey Sortedfood great channel!
Question: Is your oven "Degrees" the same as ours (in the USA)? Is it in Fahrenheit or Celsius? Just wondering if there is a difference... 200 seems kind of low..

All of these recipes are about 1000 times better than the sort of middle England Supermarket sales driven junk Jamie Oliver and the like come up with. I've FB'd your stuff to so many people. If these demos don't motivate them into eating good food at home, economically, then they're lost forever in the world of fatty takeaway oblivion. I've tried almost everything you've come up with, and everything has been a simple success. Thanks so much and keep up the great work. I've never eaten so well.

Thanks lads, we don't have Nando's in the U.S., but I had heard nonstop raves about it and was able to make your recipe --- substituted dry Thyme and hot Asian red chili paste because I didn't have fresh on hand. DEE-LICIOUS! For others following from "Fahrenheit" areas, the oven temp is 400-degrees.

When I have fresh Thyme and chilis on-hand, I plan to put the chicken and marinade into a plastic bag and let it rest in the refrigerator for about an hour, so the flavor gets into the flesh.

Looking forward to checking out your other recipes!

@jeaniebaby001 heya... yeah all of our temperatures are in degrees Celsius. If you need to convert them then best to search for a simple online conversion table. :D

Hi great video. Thank you for posting this.
I was just wondering what's an alternative to use instead of the red wine vinegar. Thanks.
