i’m not too versed in fighting games, but most push blocks push the attacker away right? i think riot is trying to avoid too many zoners because the push block is actually pushing the blocker further from the attacker. this defensive option looks to only be useful out of the corner, and so zoners can’t keep pushing you off if they’re in the corner

Just a guess, but i think the combo is slowed down for people who don't play fighting games, but wont be in game.
