Got it! I'm taking my time, currently at maddening classic chapter 5 and loving it! So far so good, it's difficulty level for a maddening isn't as terrible as let's say Awakening's where you mostly rely on RNG instead of actual tactics. Here, the difficulty spike is so gradual that even newbies can start maddening right away.
