I suggest remapping the select button to the note button if it's a physical problem, using macrofire as a temporary fix.

Hey @Robles Junior, i have both 1000 and 2000 i tried to install CFW on and the VSH menu will not pop up as you are experiencing.Please update when you figure it out.

Bro that’s probably a cracked or jailbroken PSP. They don’t read UMDs cuz of the jailbreak firmware, that’s what let’s you just put games on memory card and play.
