My friend studied anatomy in college and she explained that the last place that your skull fuses together is in the back of the head on the right quadrant which is why your hair line naturally follows on along that fuse. Pretty interesting

As a cosmetologist, yes that normal. Everyone's hair grows differently. I have a spilt dye that looks normal in the front, but is off center in the back because my natural hairline fall is off center

Edit: I do that too. I can part my hair neatly by combing it so It's possible to be manipulated easily. And with the help of rollers the parting of the hair will stay in place.
