Nice video, it cleared my concept.

I have one question.

I have an oracle database on which ASM is enabled and memory_max_target is 16GB.
When i bring down the database it release 8GB of RAM and when i startup the instance it allocate 8GB of RAM from the system.

And specific reason for this behavior?
