I read in a GQ article that when the Duffers were casting for these characters, they did kind of a "chemistry test" with Natalia (Nancy) and Charlie (Jonathan) to see if they could portray an attraction to each other on screen... And I guess they weren't even really acting because they're dating irl. lol
