Youtube loves to leave us small channels in the shadows. Then they have the nerve to subtract what little views we’re making after how many hours we put into promoting our videos. Thanks Youtube! 😂

Funny thing is I don’t buy my views, I rightfully earned them and to consider something a “fake view” is outrageous. If someone views your stuff, rather it was accidental or not, it is a view. Bots shouldn’t be “viewing” anyone’s channel unless you BOughT them. Youtube is regulating who gets what and not trying to have logical reasoning w/ what they do.

It seems more like YouTube's way of gaming the system. And it seems like YouTube is also adding views to content they want to promote.

It's terrible. This has happened to me too and it is very annoying. It is sad for a video to have a lot of views and all of a sudden goes down, it doesn't give a good image of one's channel, and it can be very disheartening considering the number of time and effort that one spends doing the work. I don't buy views, so why should views be decreasing? I think YouTube needs to work on this problem. It's something that creators hate

This is absolutely true, some videos reach 51 views. The next day the views became 47 views. The next 3 days changed to 43 views. Last 38 views. Almost all the videos on my channel are like that.

Maybe big YouTubers don't realize it. Small YouTubers really monitor that value, . The value is always changing, not increasing but decreasing.

my recent video went from 4300 views to 1600 views when i got the 4000 views i was already celebrating and hugging my mom just to come back this evening and seeing this reduction i almost teared up

Anyone experiencing an unusual drop in daily views? My channel is down about 50% over the last few weeks. Some channels are reporting the same, but I don't think it's a 'clean-up' in my case as i'm talking about new views. Interested if anyone has any info?

Thanks for the upload dude, my views halved literally over night, then consistently though out the summer, no idea why. Good to have the insights as to why that happened! It’s pretty soul crushing when you see it haha

I uploaded a video I recorded and I was so eager to watch the views rise. They got to 14 views. I was happy! Came back a little later excited to see just how much in popularity I had grown and to my dismay, I was down to 11 views! Now mind you, I sent the link to my video to multiple people in my contacts as to share my content with them. So how could after promoting my video, the small amount of views I originally had went from 14 to 11... This doesn't make *ANY SENSE AT ALL* ...I work hard at making my music, why would my views decrease? This seems illegal. I might need a lawyer.

I got an email from yt telling me why my they were taking my views away. I did a vid on this subject and it's disappointing that they do this. YT told me that they "freeze, slow down and adjust views" ... This is very frustrating. Take a moment to see my vid.
