Wow, this guy goes straight for it. I always wonder if the air mixed, now I know. Thank you.

Oh my gosh thank you for explaining this properly. I spent about 20 minutes trying to find a video for someone to watch rather me type it out explaining it how it works. So many videos did not explain what a heat recovery unit does when the title says it right in the topic.

Thank you.m

Do they really not mix? The color looked different.

Also, does the core have to be replaced? Is there a secondary filter to remove the outdoor dust and containments? How much does the core cost if so? I know these HRVs can vary quite a lot in size depending on how many square feet they are intended for.

We live in the upper Midwest. Hot humid summers and brutal cold winters. What % of the time do I run my system in each season? More in summer, less in winter??

I had my doubts until I saw the red and blue

I live in South Florida, I need hot humid air outside and dry cold air inside. Will this magic box do this?

Cleaning my HRV right now and watching this video. Air filters and main element sitting in soapy water.

I would like to purify air especially during fhe winter and controlling humidity would be nice during rhe winter.. wonder if this does that?

I am assuming that the "core" works as a filter too and will have to be replace as a consumable? Right?

Thank you for this info. Do The in flow and out flow ducts need to be insulated ducts or no since the ERV does the temp exchanging too?
