I saw you finish Matthew Perry’s book on Goodreads so I listened to it this weekend. It was very very good.

My cousin was an addict for 20 years before he passed away and I never really wanted to delve too deeply into this topic before since I’ve seen the destruction firsthand. But I’m so glad I did!

This book really helped me see life through the addict’s eye, which I appreciate. It helps me realize that quitting isn’t necessarily just a matter of willpower. It’s more like there are demons in someone’s head egging them on… day after day after day. I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.

I need to read Matthew Perry's book. My daughter has been an addict for 20 years. We tried to get her clean. She went to rehab for 3 months and went right back to the street. She knows God but refuses help. Thank you for sharing Perry's book.

I wasn't expecting Matthew Perry's book to include his faith walk, that is awesome! It's sad, but you don't see many big name actors talking or writing about their faith.
