The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Phytoceramides - A new launch which could be the best moisturizer for dry skin and anyone who would like to boost the barrier function of the skin.

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan - Great talking and soothing gel moisturizer which is best for those with oily skin but could work for everyone as a lightweight summer moisturiser for the warmer months.

I just got the PhytoCeramidesNatural Moisturizing Factors + PhytoCeramides in the mail yesterday. I’ve tried everything and I’m not joking. I bought this on a whim… I have VERY DRY skin, flaky, terrible texture, my skin barrier is damaged. This is the best I have ever used. I’ve never had a flawless application of foundation. I have extremely high hopes now. It’s soft and hydrating, it feels healing and protecting, it’s got kinda a grip to it when you rub your fingers together, not in a bad way tho, also no slippage like an oil, it sets in the skin and lasts all day I’m not joking. It doesn’t feel heavy either like a super thick lotion. I glow all day long too like my skin actually looks and feels amazing.

I was reluctant to try the phytoceramide cream, only because I'm peeved at Deciem for all the price creep. However, I finally broke down and I absolutely love it. My skin is on the dry side, and this plumps it up, helping with "the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles" better than anything else I've ever tried. Only downside it's it's SO dewy, my hair sticks to it--mostly I have to use it at night or when I'm not going to be leaving the house. The search continues for a good moisturizing day cream that plumps and hydrates but soaks in enough not to be sticky that doesn't cost a fortune.

I still prefer the OG. I don't have oily skin and the new dry skin version feels heavy. It's more like a night cream. The OG is great at working with other serums or sunscreen and not being too thick.

I haven’t tried these products but I have recently started using other products from The Ordinary that you recommended. I have say my skin loves them. I noticed an incredible difference almost immediately. Thanks. 😊

The original HA one seems to have a lot more HA in it...
The gel look of the Beta-Glucan one I do have to try. I really don't like thicker moisturizers. Nice to easily compare that element here.

The ingredients aren’t the same, they all have natural moisturizing factors but the two new ones aren’t just the HA one with added ingredients, that’s physically impossible considering one of them is a clear gel.

No, no, hell to the no!!!! Not only am I not purchasing anything I dont need but also not spending more than $45.00 for any one single skincare item, and that's with shipping included. There are way to many options out nowadays with to be breaking the bank on these pretty shelf display fillers! I recently purchased T.O gel moisturizer. Itcwas $13.00 -20% off. The feel and texture is something I havent felt or found elsewhere its in any other moisturizers. It feels similar to the DE glycolic serum but even nicer. I was actually surprised about the ingredient list. Also Ive noticed more often than not, an item Ive been wanting, will go on sale at one of the many sites, sellers or places of retail eventually. Therefore no rush or a false sense of urgency needed for fomo. Much less paying full price for things that are continually sold at lesser prices in one source or another.

Hi would you say it would be okay to mix the beta glucan and phytoceramides moisturizer to create an in between? I've purchased the phytoceramides one but it's summer here and I'm finding it way too thick for the current humidity in SA. I was thinking of getting the beta glucan for summer and maybe mixing both in winter. Your thoughts will be greatly appreciated
