I love this foundation. Makes my skin look fabulous and I'm 55. I don't have Angie's skin issues though. Different strokes for different folks.

Angie, it's really interesting how different each person reacts to products. I have always been dry, but now in my mid 40s i have developed an oily T zone. I have never bought a matte foundation. This foundation is my second favorite. My first love is LaMer, but this foundation is amazing for providing great coverage and not too drying. I had to really play around with the application method. Brushes makes it look super bad, only a sponge and you got to work quickly in very thin layers. I don't have a perfect color match but can make it work. Not everything will look good on everyone. Thanks for trying it!

I intensely dislike oxidizing foundations. You go thru so much trouble trying to match your skin, and then the whole picture changes. I’d rather go bare-faced instead. Thanks for sharing.

Angie, I've had this foundation for a few weeks and at first, I hated it. But now I mix it with a drop of CeraVe PM moisturizer and that made all the difference. Blending is easier and I still have great coverage and staying power. So, I will keep it instead of returning like I was thinking last week. EL Double Wear, applied sparingly, is still the best foundation for me. Thanks so much for your thorough and honest reviews. Love your videos!!
