Just gorgeous, makes me think of a lovely combination of Brahms and Poulenc; pure nostalgia, pondering over things and times gone by (and Shostakovich looks over the shoulder): Glass is a genuine classic composer !

A lot of bars played in 5/4 instead of 4/4. Unbearable, especially in the final section, all in 5/4. That's no rubato. What said Philip on that?
