I use a frame bag and I have all that stuff in there. If for some reason I need extra food, a stamp card, a rain coat, or some other stuff, I can easily fit it in. From the front its still aerodynamic, but yes from side it is not. A bit like a full disc wheel I guess

Love a small handlebar bag. Then I'm not forced to wear a jersey for every ride just to carry my phone, wallet, snacks, etc.

I only use a handlebar bag when I commute, as the items don't fit elsewhere...

I use a fully waterproof backpack. Saves a bunch of faffing about and holds everything I need on a day cycle.
Usually get asked by friends with saddlebags if I've got room for some of their stuff 😂

I have both a saddle bag and a handlebar bag. I also have two large rear panniers. My bike is now a rolling warehouse.

Loaded handlebar bags affects the steering too much.
Saddle bar bags and or frame bags is much preferrable IMO.
