Why do you wish it was OLED? AMOLED(Active Matric Organic Light Emitting Diode) is a type of OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) display, hence the name. If anything, it is a slight step ahead of an OLED screen.

You're wrong. The newer Samsung Galaxy line up and the note line up are out of the box 1080p. You can switch between 720p, 1080p, and 1440p. So increase that resolution to get the greatest picture. It does effect apps like YouTube, snap, and insta.
