Hiking the MANASLU CIRCUIT in NEPAL Over 11 Days 🇳🇵

Nepal is home to the world's tallest mountains and a major climbing and trekking destination. In November 2022 me and my husband hiked the Manaslu Circuit, a 110 mile trek around Manaslu (the world's 8th tallest mountain), over 11 days. We typically enjoy hiking on our own but a guide is required for this region and therefore we were accompanied by one and 2 porters, along with 3 other hikers.

The trek starts at under 1000 meters and tops out at 5160 meters, so we were able to see a variety of landscapes ranging from lush forests to the inhospitable mountaintops of the Himalayas.

Man, those long bridges would freak me out. I suppose I would conquer them though. Fantastic country! I guess if the state is going to mandate you travel with in style, at least enjoy the lighter packs!
