VS Audio Blackbird Deluxe Overdrive & Vibrato Pedal Review

This is my review of the VS Audio Blackbird Deluxe Pedal. This dual effects pedal combines overdrive and an extremely musical vibrato circuit (bias tremolo). Check it out here:

The overdrive circuit of the VS Audio Blackbird Deluxe has two gain stages allowing for anything from an off-clean tone all the way through to high gain rock sounds. If you are looking for a great-sounding Fender amp in a box sound, then look no further than this!

The VS Audio Blackbird Deluxe can run on either 9 or 18v DC and can only be powered with an external power supply. There is no room internally for a battery.

G’day Shane! Great review, as usual👍 VS Audio certainly know what thy are doing!! I did notice in your shot of the manual, that the Effects Loop Send and Return on the pedal is for inserting another effect between the Drive and Vibrato.

Sounds truly amazing both with tele and prs. Vibrato channel is great too. VS Audio are making great pedals.

Sounds wonderful. One question, though. Can you go directly from bypassed to high gain mode with the bypass button ?
I imagine by holding the bypass button down.

Some of the sounds out of that pedal were great! Like a cranked Princeton, still clear but a bit of hair round the note... definitely likes single coils.
Boss did a pretty good job yrs ago with their Dlx Rev & Black pedals, but this is a lot better, tremolo wasn't bad either.
