It appears (w/o knowing for sure) to use Apple's RealityComposer API. With the integration of Blender there's probably the possibility of adding in additional elements (?). It's certainly a next gen AR tool at the very least. Really cool.

I wonder if you could have real live actors. Also how is it at putting the character behind things? Like can the character be behind the fence since we are using a lidar tracking method. It should exist in 3d right? And could you put him behind the fence?

For all the people confused thinking that this is a person on a costume or a real robot 🤖 it's not, it's AI generated. The digital robot it's called blender and the background it's an app called simulon and you can create one too you can choose the background so your robot can be placed there it's like a video game but very realistic
