It is that time of year again for the World's Largest Music Festival, Summerfest. 11 Days. 800 Bands. Endless supply of fried food and alcohol.

For day 2, I went along to Hooligan's Bar on Milwaukee's East Side to catch their shuttle to the grounds. All you need is to purchase a drink and you get a ride there and back. This by far is my favorite way to get to Summerfest.

I started my Summerfest journey today at The Market place and ran into this sweet shop selling shirts that a 80's and 90's kid dreams of. Highlight for me were the Disney princess Hawaiian shirts.

Beer, of course, was in order for the hot day and I was able to find my favorite beer of Summerfest (and the best deal) the 6.5% alcohol "punch you in the ipa" located at the Water Street Brewery building.

Fuel of the day was the "Sampler platter" from Saz's. Definitely shareable and definitely delicious. You get all your fried desires in one dish.

There was a severe Thunderstorm, but that didn't ruin the spirits of the festival goers.

Finally, I got to see Lizzo in real life and it was as magical as I could have imagined. I'm sure the other 10,000 individuals who also saw her thought the same thing. (Yeah, there were that many who came to see her.)
