Just wanted to add what happened to me with this objective. I had 10 memories on me and 10 in my mail. I didn't realise what I needed to do early on and was just farming for guns. I deleted a few and I wasn't getting any drops at all which SHOULD then convert into the Epic memory objective. I then deleted more, still nothing. Finally I deleted them all, did a ghost quest which took me to a cyst and finally they started dropping, I then got one after another of the epic memories and finally got the two last prismatic items I needed. Comments here helped me get there so I thought I would add what happened with me.

Finish the finals shape campaign by killing the witness. After all the end credits r over go back to the pale heart, delete all or vestiges of light then do the into the dark quest n once u collect ur vestiges of light from the into the dark cyst missions ull get 5 n then the icon for the reflection area will pop up on the map n the chest will b at the top of the trees

I deleted my 10 in the inventory and took 4 from the postmaster. Ran a few different cyst because some weren't dropping. Did slayer and sword dance and it worked for me.

I did all this and the chest isnt spawning on top of the vines anywhere? I have the memory thing but cant get the chest to spawn?

I have 0 vestiges and no memory of light on my map, not getting any vestige drops :(

idk why, but 1st,
no white glowing enemys (not relly, they are there, but not glowing) in that Cyst whatsoever, and 2nd,
no drops if i kill the guys that would normally give me the drops
