I love how for Amy, she’s able to carry her hammer like it was nothing while for anyone else, it weighs a ton. I guess those weights around her waist definitely helps

Actually, if the hammer part weights mostly 1.5 tons, then in order to lift and carry that via the vector of the handle Amy would have to be able to lift closer to 3 tons. It's basically lever physics plus the weight of the hammer on one part of the hammer.

So Sonic can go at the speed of sound and use the chaos emeralds, Tails can reach new heights and invent, Amy has immense strength and combat skills, and Knuckles has great combat skills and strenght and can harness the powers of the master emerald. I'll be honest here, if they became evil, they could decimate and dominate their planet.

In any case, I must call Sonic before Amy finds out she can carry away Sonic.

Headcannon: Amy is the Sonic Universe equivalent of Thor in the sense that her hammer is heavy to everyone else that isn't 'worthy'.

What's funny about Amy is that in Sonic canon, she is basically an anime style magical girl. She has access to pocket dimensions, can summon her hammer back to her at will, and lift it despite it weighing a ton. She would fit perfectly in an episode of Pretty Cure.
