Enjoyed the driving tour of this highway. Drove it in September 2015 when I was out for some fly fishing in that part of Idaho. Thanks for bringing back some good memories of the area.

I grew up in Alaska, Anchorage to be exact. I have seen much of Alaska and enjoyed over two decades of its beauty particularly its fishing. Idaho is every bit as beautiful and its fishing especially steelhead are on par with Alaska. The location of the state is ideal. Montana to the northeast, Wyoming and Yellowstone to the east, Colorado to the southeast, Washington and Oregon to the west. All of these states mentioned have vast national parks, world class fishing, some of the best skiing in the world, picturesque resorts, and yet never more than half a day drive from one population center to the next. Everyone should visit Idaho. My wife and I are seriously considering moving there.

Great scenic drive there. Thanks for sharing. I noticed a bus passing you in Ketchum. according to Google, Ketchum has several Mountain Rides buses, which include trips to Sun Valley, Warm Springs, River Run Plaza, Dollar Mountain, Elkhorn Springs, Bellevue, Hailey and Downtown Ketchum.
