Airgun High Pressure Air Hand Pump Basics : Umarex Airguns

Показать описание
A short video with Eydin Hansen on the basics of using a high pressure airgun hand pump for filling your airguns with air required for a PCP air rifle or air pistol to function. The key is to use steady strokes both up and down. Use your body's weight on the down stroke, especially when the air pressure is creating much resistance. Also give the pump a break. Pump for 5 minutes. Let it cool down for 15. Pump another 5. Keep your air gun air cylinder topped off so that future pumping won't require more than the one 5 minute session. Slow and steady wins the race!

It seems simple but many people are saying the hand pump sucks, at least on gauntlet reviews I've seen. This seems to counter that though I do note it isn't a gauntlet

How long does it take to fill with the hand pump?

Brand new to PCP airguns. So keeping air inside the gun for a period of time won't hurt it? How should a PCP gun be stored for prolonged periods of time? Great video btw, just what I was looking for.

When my rifle is filled up. I proceed to vent the air from the hand pump. But, all the air escapes from the gun too. What do I do?

I have a question if you want to add more air into your gun while you still have pressure are you able to do that by connecting your hand pump to the gun?

My pump doesn't seem to pump into my weirauch 110 .
The gauge on the pump doesn't match the gauge on the rifle. Also there's an air bubble on the pump gauge. Not sure if that's an issue.
Cheers

I just recently got this gun for Christmas. I aired it up and shot it around 10 times but on the last shot the air gauge on the gun went to 0 and now when I try to pump it up I can feel the air leaking from the top of the gauge on the gun. Do you think that is a O-ring issue?

Do you ever lubricate those o-rings? and if so, with what?

Can the cartridge be pumped using a regular air pump/compressor or does it have to be a pcp pump?

I just bought the origen and just after a few pumps the fill probe leaks where it is attached to the pump and then even after I release the pressure at the pump the fill probe is stuck in the gun, I don't know what to do other than just trying to return the gun if you can give me some idea what the problem is thank you

is there a video showing the pump in use ?

You have to push the probe in a little farther than what’s shown in the video. If you don’t push it in all the way you hear air escaping .
