Totally agree. Canadian here and air Canada scks major balls. Flight from Montreal to Vancouver, was supposed to take off at 10am. Took off at 5pm due to “delays.” Weather was nice all day. Even pilot and flight attendants sitting waiting. Like wtf is the bs-ery?

We had tickets from London to Ottawa via a stopover in Toronto. When we turned up at the airport we found out the flight to Toronto had been changed and was going to stop in Ottawa, but they wanted us to carry on to Toronto and catch the flight back to Ottawa, which is as dumb as can be. It took an age and the involvement of our friend and host in Ottawa, who was a super high frequency traveller with them, to get them to allow us to get off the first time we stopped in Ottawa with our luggage. Madness!!

We also had an life threatening experiance with air canada.I was travelling to canada with my PR and my child.We were told that you can not board the flight and we had to deal with them on the airport for 8 hours with my 9 year old child. We did not have UK Visa and air canada had trapped us and cheated us.We had to go back to india they did not provide me food or a hotel to stay and not even a flight ticket back to india.thankfully
after understanding Uk customs provided us with 2 day visa without any fee the officers also told us that was air canada's Mistake and fault due to that you are facing issues.I heard that this has been happening to alot of people and that case is only and only because of air canada.

I hope everyone knows, not sure about Canada, but in America there is a law that states if your flight is canceled the airlines have to refund you your money if they cannot accommodate an arrangement with you 😉

This week I had a business trip to Montreal; I arrived with my luggage but missing my toolbox. It took over 36 hrs to get it back (I had to drive myself to YUL airport as the delivery company did not pic it up). Then, on the return 3 days later, they lose the same toolbox! This time it took 10 hrs to get back. One can't make this s__t up. I am going to avoid this airline at all costs.
