South Park Rally was my go to racer growing up. My dad had bought it and I just loved it. All the modes were insane. I hated Easter and Thanksgiving Day

Fun video! If you want to get really esoteric though, there was a kart racer released for the PS2 in 2011, five years after the PS3 had come out. The title is "Cart Kings", made by developers in India, which probably didn't see a lot of sales outside of that country. Especially since it was also a licensed game, using characters from comics published by Amar Chitra Katha, an Indian comic book publisher.

South Park Rally ran like absolute garbage on PS1. I remember renting it growing up and it was actually impossible to control properly coz it was about 10fps 😂

First off, the way Jess says Cinemas is delightful. Second, hearing anyone talking about South Park video games as a whole as a positive was not around for the N64/PS1 era. Those games were hot garbage and the creators of South Park banned using their license for video games for over a decade.

I played a ton of Muppet Racemania as a kid. It was great. I don’t remember much from it, more than I really wanted to unlock Floyd and that there was a power up that basically let you skip parts of a level

Between all the 3D mascot platform games and the kart racing games the two generations from the PS1 to PS2 had the market flooded with them before the FPS and open world games took over after that.
