Railcraft Locomotive Tutorial (voltz)

The item loader at 8:04 probably failed because the loader wasn't above the train, and because the loader was set to only load up locomotives.

It takes some time for it to start up initially as it has to raise the temperature in the boiler to 100 C. at that point it begins boiling the water into steam but the locomotive doesn't actually move until it hits the halfway bar. the number itself that it begins moving at I believe is 8, 000 units. the train hits full speed on a high-speed rail at full steam.

If you're sure that it's not a matter of warming up could you provide some mod details for other viewers? They may be able to help then.

You can press N while riding the train to blow it's whistle.

Did you know that one Water Tank is sufficient, and also: If you were to elevate the water tank one block, you can place the Adv. Item loader below it, and set it up so that when both are done, it can power the same holding track? My friend and I also have cooler setups for this on one of our worlds...

As of the current update, you can link multiple trains together for more power and as a result pull more carts. I don't know if there is a point at which attaching more trains has no effect.

the loco has 3 tenders
1:for the operator to ride
2:coke tender
3:water tender

Is the water tank really on Railcraft or is it part of another mod? Cuz it's missing after I installed the jar

1. The hole is not facing the cart.
2. The cart it's filtered to is a steam locomotive, not a chest cart.

Just so you know, you had the filter on the item unloaded set the to the train. Probably why it wouldn't work. :P

those were railcraft tanks. They are made with the tank siding and glass
