There is no question that Patrick Mahomes is more athletically gifted than, well just about any other quarterback ever. But to rank him with Tom Brady we are going to have to either wait for him to attain seven rings or play for 20 years - which ever comes first. Then we’ll see..

I don’t care what anyone says, Tom Brady is the best, will always BE the best, he was the first to do it and did it against way tougher competition, keep in mind the largest final point deficit in any of Brady’s Super Bowl losses was only 8 points, the highest for Mahomes was 22 points, with the 22 point loss being AGAINST Brady, Mahomes has absolutely NOTHING on Tom Brady.

What's hilarious is that if they truly think Mahomes is the greatest, why would they need to lower the bar for him to reach this status? And in doing so, they don't seem to realize that they set the precedent to lower the bar again once another great QB comes along. If Mahomes only needs 3, then the next guy might only need 1 or 2. Pretty soon, the GOAT will be a rookie who didn't even make the playoffs.

This is precisely why I don't watch sports media. Mahomes is on a trajectory that will put him in the conversation. But he has a long way to go. I'm enjoying watching his run. He is amazing.

This is another reason why I love baseball so much. Baseball is a numbers driven sport. You don't hear a lot of nonsense like this in baseball because baseball fans are numbers people. We tend to be a little more educated. It's not as easy to pull this kind of stuff on us.

Watching this after Mahomes is going to his 3rd straight. You already know he's gonna win (cause refs gonna ref) and i dread the incoming narrative that Mahomes is better. They'll shove Tom down (and i have a few reasons why i believe the league wants to overlook Tom, and it has nothing to do with football) and elevate Pat.
